Jerusalem, 28 February 2019

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

It was with great interest that I met a team of five people consecrated in the Ordo Virginum. They plan to organise a major pilgrimage-retreat in Jerusalem by 2021, with the aim of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the publication of the renewed ritual for the consecration of virgins, dedicated to women living in the world.

I strongly encourage the team to prepare this pilgrimage which in the space of one week could bring together 400 to 600 people and that will, I am sure, revive the mission of the universal Church.

I thank you in advance for anything you can do to facilitate the organisation of this event which has my full support.
